Since the release of the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs[Disney's first movie] in 1937, there has never been a black princess. After years of controversy Disney is said to be releasing a cartoon movie with a black princess titled The Princess and the Frog.
The princess[Tiana] will be voiced by Anika Noni Rose better known as "Lorell" from Dreamgirls.Along with other A-list names like Oprah and Terrence Howard, this film is destined to be a box-office smash!The movie is set to release December of this year.

And to think...all we needed was a black president to get a black princess on Disney..ohh the irony.
