Kandi Releases Statement on Fiance's Death

Kandi's Fiance was killed last week while partying at an Atlanta strip club. During the midst of all this mayhem, Kandi released an official statement to the media about. The death of her beloved fiance.

"I am devastated by the loss of AJ. His death comes on the heels of the death of my beloved Uncle Ralph and with both of them gone, my heart is heavy with grief. I had spoken to AJ two hours before I got the call that he was in the hospital. Never in a thousand years did I think it was going to be the last time I heard his voice. He was taken way too soon. There are so many things that I should have said to him, wanted to say to him… But now it’s too late.

I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to all of my family and friends — and that means my twitter and facebook friends as well — for the beautifulwords of encouragement, prayers, and the sweet condolences. I make it through these difficult days because of you. I know this is cliché’ but I urge everyone to treat each day as if it’s your last and tell that special someone you love them today. Don’t wait. It may be too late.

Please pray for his children, his family and Riley - they too are grieving the loss of an incredible man, son, brother and father. I wish you all had gotten to know the AJ we all knew and loved."

The Obama's Celebrate Their 17th Anniversary

The Obama's celebrated 17 years of marriage over the weekend at Washington's Blue Duck Tavern an American Restaurant. Observers said that the couple was being very intimate and friendly.

Later on that evening they hit up the White House for a little bit more celebrating.

Celebs Come Out For New York Film Festival's Screening of Precious

Mariah Carey,Mary J. Blige and other A-listers hit up Alice Tully Hall on Sunday for New York Film Festival's screening of the movie "Precious." The movie is based off of Sapphire's novel PUSH, and is said to be one of this years biggest films. Precious will be released in theaters November 6th.

Nas Hits Up 106 & Park

Nope. There's no new album from "Nasty Nas," (besides an unreleased collab with Damian Marley) and he wasn't pleading Kelis to lower the support amount. Nas went to discuss gang violence.

Nas penned a letter addressing the murder of Chicago teen, Derrion Albert and stopped by 106th n Park to explain why.

When I wrote, I didn’t know who was reading,” Nas told "106" host Terrence J, while sitting on the couch. “I just wrote from the heart and said what I was feeling. I just feel like, ya’ll warriors, that’s what we are."

He continued, “Boys and girls growing up, whether you’re from Chicago, or from L.A. or, you know, New York, we’re warriors. We were born in a storm. It’s a lot of things out there that’s out to get us, traps out there and the reality of it is, it’s only us that’s filling up the prisons, man. So it’s like, how long can we just sit back and watch us being loaded up into prisons?"

"It bothers me, yo,” Nas shared. “We got at least three years and three months with Barack here and that’s enough time for us to figure out a lot of things out. See, all that stuff is kinda played out, killing each other. That’s played out.

“We’ve seen the movies, we’ve read the F.E.D.S. magazines, we know how the story ends, the Alpos and the Rich Porters and the dudes around my way the Supremes and all that, “ he added. “We know how the story ends if we not on the right track because there’s a lot of forces out there that’s trying to put us inside a jail or in an early grave other than ourselves, so why would we help that enemy out?”

Amen to that.

Atlanta Housewives Fiance, A. J. Jewell Killed

Sadly, fiance of Kandi Buress, was killed in an Atlanta strip club, The Body Tap.

The two had a well-known rocky relationship and Burress' mother had obvious doubts and dislikes about the relationship.

The details of the murder are unknown but the Atlanta area WSBTV News reports "It appears he was involved in an altercation in the parking lot and he received a severe blow to the head," said Atlanta Police Lt. Keith Meadows. Meadows said Jewell was taken to Piedmont Hospital where he later died.

Police said Fredrick Richardson, an employee at the strip club, is charged with voluntary manslaughter and currently being held at Grady Detention in connection with the crime. Authorities said Richardson, who was also injured, will be transported to the Fulton County Jail once he is cleared by medical personnel."

Buress reported on her twitter:

"I could never in a million years imagine this happening,"

"im just in one of those moods where i dont wanna talk," she posted early this morning.

"i dont wanna b held & told its gonna b ok. i just wanna cry myself 2 sleep, alone,"

Christina Milian...In Club Tabu?!?

Now its probably not the smartest thing to do...go to a club pregnant...but hey, if your carrying The Dream's baby...why not?

Christina Milian was the Celeb face of Vegas' Tabu nightclub the other night. No more denying the pregnancy rumors, because there is no hiding this baby bump!

Chica looks cute pregnant though.

The "solo-star" was featured on the cover of Honey Magazine and did a photoshoot along with an interview.

In the spread, Ms.Knowles claims her rumored relationship with rapper Wale is false:
