Project Runway's ice queen, Irina Shabayeva's meanstreak can now frost over. Irina's designs landed her a top slot in the latest edition of Runway's BravoTV segment.

She was crowned "Mean-a-Irina," by her fellow competitors, and is well-known for accusing opponents of copying her style.

Irina's cool demeanor has given some frost-bites, but her genuis designs have earned her, her stripes. Who knows? -maybe nice girls do finish last.

Sammy Sosa's Bleached Baptism

Former major league baseball player Sammy Sosa, may be unrecognizable to some in his PHUNKY new "skin suit." This former batter baptized himself in bleach -his skin is now ten times lighter.

Sosa claims that the cream he used as a skin softener and the lighting of the camera's, make his skin appear lighter.

This "holy" cream appears to have done alot more than just soften his skin.

Amber's a No-no at Twilight Screening

Amber Rose showed up at a special screening of Twilight, at the Landmark Sunshine Theatre in NY, with a bit more class than usual. Instead of wearing her typical body hugging jumpsuits, she opted for a bright orange, one shoulder dress.

Too bad this bald beauty just missed the mark!

That tangerine inspired dress made her effort nothing less than a PHUNKY attempt.

Plenty of singers can't help but give in to the reality t.v. syndrome, sweeping its way throughout the country. Many record stripped artists, looking to sell extra songs, are now resorting to the big screen.

With stars from the likes of Monica on Bet's Still Standing , to Flavor Flav on VH1's Flavor of Love, you can't help but wonder if this trend is getting a little PHUNKY.

Many more are opting to get more personal with their fans.

Who can blame them? More t.v. means more potential fans, more potential fans means more money!

Whatever the case, this is one "reality," many see worth exploring.

Oprah Winfrey Decides to Pull the Plug

Looks like the queen of talk has had a mouthful!

Nationally acclaimed talk show host, Oprah Winfrey announced her decision to pull the plug.

"After much prayer and months of careful thought, I've decided that next season, season 25, will be the last season," she said.

She addressed her viewers saying, "I could never have imagined the yellow-brick road of blessings that have led me to this moment with you."

For years Oprah's captivating persona and "silver tongue," has had viewers hooked. Now, after entering the homes of millions for over two decades her time has come to an end.

Something tells me - Oprah's last segment may be a Phunky show worth watching.

Jayson Williams get 3 years

Former Nets basketball player Jayson Williams will be doing a 3 year bid in prison. In 2002 Williams was charged with manslaughter for accidentally shooting his driver. 

A source stated:The plea deal would resolve all charges in the case that dragged out for nearly eight years.

During his 2002 trial, the jury deadlocked on the reckless manslaughter count, acquitted him of aggravated manslaughter and convicted him of covering up the shooting. He was never sentenced for the cover-up counts, pending the outcome of the retrial, and has remained free on bail.

Witnesses testified that while showing off a shotgun in his bedroom, Williams snapped the weapon shut and it fired one shot that struck driver Costas Christofi in the chest, killing him.

They also testified that Williams initially placed the gun in the dead man’s hands and instructed those present in the bedroom to lie about what happened.

The defense has maintained the shooting was an accident and that Williams panicked afterward.

We wish Williams the best of luck.
