Still in promotion for her new album, Rated R, Rihanna has been touring the country and appearing on television looking better and better than she did while getting over "that" incident. The Huffington Post reported that a 35-year-old HIV-positive man in New Zealand injected his blood into his wife while she was sleeping, thereby infecting her with the virus, court documents have revealed.

According to a report in New Zealand's Sunday Star-Times, the man did it so that his wife would start having sex with him again, as she had refused to do so out of fear of contracting the disease. He gave her the virus by pricking her with a sewing needle tainted with his blood.

More details from Sky News:

In the documents, the wife described how, in May, 2008, she found a sting-like mark on her left thigh and two days later awoke to a stinging feeling in her leg.

She said: "I got up... and I flicked the blankets... I looked at (the husband) and he was wide awake."

The wife asked him if he had pricked her and he said, 'No'. But she later found evidence of "blood sprinkles" on their duvet, which she said her husband tried to hide from her.

The husband is currently in prison awaiting sentencing, and faces up to 14 years in jail.

Oprah Winfrey Decides to Pull the Plug

"After much prayer and months of careful thought, I've decided that next season, season 25, will be the last season," she said.

She addressed her viewers saying, "I could never have imagined the yellow-brick road of blessings that have led me to this moment with you."

For years Oprah's captivating persona and "silver tongue," has had viewers hooked. Now, after entering the homes of millions for over two decades her time has come to an end.

Something tells me - Oprah's last segment may be a Phunky show worth watching.

Jayson Williams get 3 years

Former Nets basketball player Jayson Williams will be doing a 3 year bid in prison. In 2002 Williams was charged with manslaughter for accidentally shooting his driver. 

A source stated:The plea deal would resolve all charges in the case that dragged out for nearly eight years.

During his 2002 trial, the jury deadlocked on the reckless manslaughter count, acquitted him of aggravated manslaughter and convicted him of covering up the shooting. He was never sentenced for the cover-up counts, pending the outcome of the retrial, and has remained free on bail.

Witnesses testified that while showing off a shotgun in his bedroom, Williams snapped the weapon shut and it fired one shot that struck driver Costas Christofi in the chest, killing him.

They also testified that Williams initially placed the gun in the dead man’s hands and instructed those present in the bedroom to lie about what happened.

The defense has maintained the shooting was an accident and that Williams panicked afterward.

Apparently, that's a sneak tweet to the album that is supposed to be released from Rihanna.

Yup. Souljaboy was arrested last night trying to flee from police.

Souljaboy and friends were partying it up last night at an ATL home when cops raided the place trying to break up the party. Souljaboy along with 40 other party goers [who claimed to be there for a video shoot] fleed the scene as soon as they heard the police.

Souljaboy reportedly got away but returned later on that evening to pick up his Range Rover . Police recognized the rapper as being one of the suspects who fleed the scene and handcuffed him on the spot.

Souljaboy is being charged with a misdemeanor for obstruction of justice.

After just nine months of being in office, President Obama is being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize.The president gave his speech this morning and was just as surprised as the rest of the world saying he was "deeply humbled" by the award. 

Following U.S presidents Wilson,Roosevelt and Carter; Obama has become the fourth U.S president to win the honorary prize and the first president to win during his first year in office.
